Ty Segall plays tonight, Saturday and probably Sunday too

There’s been a flurry of rad SF shows announced in the past few days courtesy of some frenetic, last-minute bookings by Total Trash and Burger Records.

Here’s a mid-week recap of what’s going on in the next few days:

Ty Segall
and Shannon and the Clams are playing at the Knockout tonight at 9:30 for 5 bucks. DJing will be the dudes from Burger Records. This show was most recently announced. Tickets at the door, 21+.

An equally awesome show at Hemlock tonight: White Mystery, Burnt Ones, Dimples and Mrs. Magician will be be playing at 8:30 for $7. This is a Total Trash event. Here’s the event page. 21+

Another show featuring Bay Area locals: Luis Vasquez’s solo project, The Soft Moon (who recently toured with Interpol and will be join Mogwai in October) and Craft Spells play Popscene at Rickshaw Stop. Buy tickets for that over here. 18+, $10.

Tomorrow (Friday)
Traditional Fools, Outdoorsmen, Uzi Rash, and Shrouds at Thee Parkside for Total Trash Fest Week 3. You can buy tickets for this one ($10, doors at 9pm), 21 and up.

Young Prisms, Grave Babies, and Permanent Collection (who will be performing at Positive Destruction’s inaugural event) play at Hemlock. More details on the Facebook event page. This one starts at 9:30 and is $10.

Ty Segall, Bare Wires,
and Cosmonauts at Hemlock. Also $5, starts at 9:30pm. 21+ There’s also a day show featuring Hot Fog, Winter Ox and Ironwitch. That one starts at 5pm and is 5 bucks.

***Dukes of Hamburg, Legendary Stardust Cowboy, Daddy Long Legs, Rock N Roll Adventure Kids, Shankers and some DJs at Thee Parkside, doors at 9pm. $10 21+. You can buy tickets for this over here.

Back to the Hemlock: two shows, one during the day featuring Moonhearts (with Mikal Cronin), Pangea (half of which are touring with Mikal this fall), King Lollipop and Si Si Si. That one starts a bit earlier at 2:30pm and is $7. Playing at the night show will be Mikal Cronin, Mouthbreathers, and Cosmonauts. 9pm, $7. There are also some unsubstantiated rumors that Ty Segall will be joining his upcoming tour buddies for this one.

Oh, and don’t forget that Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti joins R. Stevie Moore and Carletta Sue Kay at Make Out Room for the first of two shows (the second with Kelley Stoltz). Tickets are almost sold out for Sunday. Tickets for the Monday show are also in limited quantity and can be purchased here (edit: a small number of tickets will also be available at the door).
